Music lessons in Riga: your questions answered

Our music school is in the heart of Riga at Blaumaņa iela 32, LV-1011, on the 4th floor (lift available), a short walk from the city centre with convenient parking nearby. We also teach online, so you can learn from anywhere in Riga, Pierīga or further afield.

We have one simple rate for every instrument: €33 for a 30-minute lesson, €45 for 45 minutes, and €59 for a full hour. You pay as you go, with no contracts or block-booking commitments.

We offer lessons in piano, singing, guitar, bass guitar, drums, violin, cello, saxophone, flute, clarinet, trumpet and ukulele: taught one-to-one by professional musicians and teachers.

Yes. We welcome complete beginners and advanced students of all ages, with children starting from age four right through to adult learners returning to music or starting for the first time.

Lessons are available in Latvian, English and Russian, so every student can learn comfortably in the language that suits them best. Some instruments are also available in Swedish and French.

Yes. Our teachers prepare students for internationally recognised graded exams, including those of the ABRSM, Trinity College London, RSL (Rockschool) and the Music Teachers’ Board.

Not to begin with: you’re welcome to use one of ours for your first few lessons while you decide. Your teacher will also happily advise you on buying or renting the right instrument.

Every lesson is private and one-to-one, tailored to your goals. We teach seven days a week from 8:00 until 22:00, so it’s easy to find a time around work or school.

Yes, all of our instruments can be taught online as well as in person at our central Riga studio, giving you full flexibility.

Simply register your interest through our sign-up form and we’ll match you with the right teacher and a time that suits you. Gift vouchers are also available if you’d like to give music lessons as a present.

We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Lessons cancelled with less notice are charged in full, since that time is reserved specifically for you with your teacher.

No. Every lesson, including your first, is charged at our standard rate. We keep pricing simple and transparent rather than offering discounted trials.
